Responsibilities
Develops specifications and executes engineering activities for rotating and static equipment, such as reciprocating piston, centrifugal, diaphragm and screw compressors, steam turbines, gas turbines, pumps, shell & tube exchangers, air-cooled exchangers, separators, columns, and fired-heaters.
Performs total cost of ownership evaluations, considering capital costs, reliability, maintenance, and operating costs.
Reviews supplier-submitted documentation and drawings.
Serves as the single point of contact with vendors for engineering activities.
Conducts supplier shop performance testing and pre-shipment inspections.
Participates in the field commissioning and start-up of equipment.
Troubleshoots shop and/or field problems.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and minimum 5 years’ experience in equipment engineering.
Knowledge of mechanical equipment, centrifugal/reciprocating/diaphragm/screw compressors, blowers, pumps, heat exchangers, vessels and cooling towers in Industrial Gases, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical Industry.
Familiarity with Industry standards such as ASME, API, PIP, CGA, ANSI, ASTM, and OSHA
Ability to pay attention to detail and work in a time-conscious and effective manner.
Possess Professional Engineer license (PE) or willingness to complete.
A proactive and positive “can-do” attitude.
