Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of highly technical and advisory duties associated with the design, implementation, and support of Applications solutions

Provide technology leadership by architecting, prototyping, researching, recommending, documenting, and assisting in implementing and evaluating technical solutions

Review the accuracy of the release notes and technical documentation through collaboration with the applications development areas

Coordinate and monitor technologies for planning, data modeling, integration planning and availability measurement

Work with the staff to implement appropriate application security controls across all applications development areas

Work with staff to establish standards and disciplined techniques for technical activities like creating new code, restructuring existing code, and maintaining version control and security

Develop estimates of the teamwork effort needed to deliver application solutions based on the project specifications provided; Report progress to management and project managers as requested

Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews

Act as a work lead for translating business objectives and requirements into functional solutions

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Prior architect experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications

Proven experience leading technical teams; assigning resources, keeping projects on budget and in timeline, and mentoring

Experience interfacing with vendors for technology/solution evaluation and project execution

In-depth understanding of programming languages frameworks

Understanding of application security and best practices

Strong verbal and written communication skills with non-technical and technical stakeholders
