Responsibilities

Design and develop cloud-based applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Serve as a trusted advisor to development teams, providing guidance on cloud architecture, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions that align with cloud strategies.
Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and integration processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Optimize cloud resource utilization to ensure cost-efficiency while maintaining quality and performance.
Implement security protocols and policies to safeguard cloud applications and data.
Provide technical mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Stay current with advancements in cloud technologies, tools, and frameworks to recommend improvements and innovative solutions.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in cloud development, with expertise in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or Go.
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Knowledge of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management.
Expertise in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative cloud solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred

Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).
Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
Familiarity with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Google Stackdriver.
Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud strategies.
Background in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
