Responsibilities
Add/remove Unix/Windows users, groups, & file permissions Server lifecycle management (installation, repair, replace, retire).
Deploy required virus updates.
Provide timely installation of required patches as requested Maintain SW/HW inventory.
Successfully troubleshoot issues that are identified (identify root cause, research, resolve).
Successfully implement approved changes and provide quality assurance validation.
Manage physical, virtual, and cloud-based servers and applications.
Maintain day-to-day operations of Microsoft Windows or Unix Servers.
Knowledge in a cloud-based environment (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Escalation of resolution of complicated incidents and problems.
Ability to navigate and utilize ServiceNow.
Manage application installation and deployment Testing and documentation of new deployments.
Working knowledge of Zscaler ZIA and Splunk.
Solid understanding of Network protocols and how they relate to proxy and zero trust issues.
Experience utilizing ServiceNow as a ticketing agent.
Application testing on new platforms.
Create and maintain operational documentation and reports to support monthly trend analysis as well as project components.
Design and Architecture of systems deployment Testing and custom configurations.
Project plan development and execution.
Proactively manages relationships with stakeholders through effective communications.
Communicate effectively to key stakeholders and associates.
Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices to meet quality/time to market targets.

Required
3-5 years working in a network security role.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field(s) or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
ITIL Foundations - Required
Ability to navigate and utilize ServiceNow.
Solid understanding of Network protocols and how they relate to proxy and zero trust issues.
Experience utilizing ServiceNow as a ticketing agent.
Analytical skills and the ability to solve technical problems.
Ability to learn new skills quickly as needed.
Teamwork, & time management skills.
Skills and experience around organizing, planning, and executing information systems projects.
Good customer contact skills.
Ability to develop and present solutions to all levels of management.
Preferred
Base Technology or Security certification (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCENT, CCNA, MCSA, etc.) - Preferred
Experience automating tasks with APIs or other coding languages a plus.
Knowledge in a cloud-based environment (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Working knowledge of Zscaler ZIA and Splunk.
