Responsibilities

Serve as primary staff lead for the ongoing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of new corporate donors.
Build and maintain a portfolio with a goal of securing multiple gifts of $10,000 or above.
Fundraise towards target goals for corporate funding.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with the CEO, leadership team, and other key staff.
Maintain up-to-date database records for portfolio prospects and donors.
Develop and manage corporate volunteer projects, corporate responsibility initiatives, and cause marketing campaigns.
Solicit event sponsors for NMFA’s annual keystone events.

Required

3+ years fundraising experience, including corporate donor relationships and stewardship
Customer Relationship Management proficiency in Raisers Edge or similar, familiarity with MS Office
Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
Track record of securing gifts of $10,000+
Clear, precise, and compelling writing, editing, and communications skills
Well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven, high degree of professionalism
Demonstrated experience managing projects and meeting deadlines
Strong commitment to AFP Code of Ethics

Preferred

Knowledge of or experience with the families of the uniformed services
Bachelor’s degree
