Responsibilities
Direct and mentor accounting and finance teams across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Conduct timely and accurate monthly close, meeting company deadlines while striving for accuracy and continuous improvement.
Oversee the global consolidation process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Drive key initiatives to enhance financial reporting and improve operational efficiency across the Americas region.
Play a key role in the global audit process, ensuring compliance and readiness for external reviews as well as internal and compliance audits in local regions.
Provide technical accounting guidance in accordance with GAAP, ensuring complete and accurate adoption of new technical accounting pronouncements.
Collaborate closely with FP&A, Treasury, and Tax teams to ensure seamless financial operations and alignment across the region.

Required
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required & Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
At least 3 years of experience working for a major professional services firm, such as a member of the 'Big Four' or national firm, is required.
At least an additional 4 to 6 years of corporate accounting experience with similar financial reporting responsibilities, or financial reporting experience for a publicly listed company.
Demonstrated ability to engage, train, develop and manage a regional accounting team.
Demonstrated strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting operations, including a closing calendar and review process cadence.
Demonstrates excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
Demonstrates a strong knowledge of internal control processes.
Demonstrates good interpersonal skills, plus excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Fluent in both English and Spanish (preferred).
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
