Responsibilities

Provide support to market research, model development and application (four-step and activity-based models), quantitative analysis, statistical analysis, geographic information system (GIS) projects, and network development

Network and model component coding

Data input preparation and data analysis

QA/QC on travel forecasts

Scripting

Interact with clients and contribute to business development and project management activities

Take responsibility for products delivered to clients

Take pride in deliverables that reflect well on the clients and on Cambridge Systematics

Manage projects and/or tasks with support from senior staff

Required

Bachelor’s degree

10+ years of relevant experience

Thorough understanding of the travel demand modeling process: four-step and/or activity-based models

Significant hands-on model implementation experience in one or more of the following software platforms: TransCAD, Visum, Cube, Emme

Project experience with modeling software such as TransCAD, Cube, Emme, and/or Visum

Scripting or programming experience using one or more of the following: Python, R, GISDK, Cube Voyager, C, C++, C#, and/or Java

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Data processing & manipulation skills

Familiarity with GIS software and concepts
