Responsibilities
Working with intermediaries to schedule and conduct effective enrollment/education meetings (in both English and Spanish (if applicable)) that communicate retirement plan and investment concepts as appropriate to meet the employee/participant and plan sponsor needs
Respond to questions/concerns regarding John Hancock investments, products and the use of 401(k) retirement savings programs
Assist plan sponsors and intermediaries who wish to conduct on-site enrollment meetings to ensure that John Hancock is appropriately represented and that enrollment tools are used effectively
Work closely with intermediaries and plan sponsors to grow assets under management through effective employee education and enrollment initiatives
Coordinate the delivery of materials (as determine vital) for use in on-site enrollment/education meetings
Facilitate and deliver remote presentations including group enrollment/education meetings and the ordering of materials as required
Support delivery of website demonstrations for internal and external partners

Required
College degree (or equivalent work experience in education or the pension and/or defined contribution sector)
Two to three years of similar experience
Life insurance and variable license as determined for territory coverage within 3-6 mos. of hire
FINRA SIE and/or Series 7 or 6 and 63 within 6 months of hire
Industry designations such as APA, APR ChFC etc. a plus
Spanish bilingual skills (Must have)

Thorough understanding of John Hancock’s relationship with intermediary partners
Strong understanding of investment and market principles
Strong ability to prioritize tasks, excellent time management and organization skills

Excellent presentation skills; able to demonstrate professional poise and confidence
In-depth knowledge of presentation preparation
Strong ability to effectively communicate complex information to differing levels of audience sophistication
Ability to effectively use multi-media tools and techniques
Strong negotiation, interviewing and listening skills
Ability to effectively manage difficult conversations
Strong relationship-building skills
Ability to exercise resiliency
Excellent customer service skills and responsiveness
