Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics.

Serve as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and management. Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and risk assessments.

Coordinate resources and manage project schedules to ensure efficient allocation and utilization of team members.

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any issues or deviations from the plan (RAID Log generation and resolution, etc).

Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies within the AWS Cloud Infrastructure team.

Maintain a strong understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure concepts to effectively coordinate technical projects.

Required

2-4 years of experience in leading complex technical projects from conception to delivery.

4-7 years of experience in technical project management, with a solid understanding of the functional interface between software development and infrastructure.

Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget via a strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, PMI).

High level understanding of infrastructure design, including network, data, and application architecture.

Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure while maintaining a good sense of humor - be flexible and understanding.
