Responsibilities
Drive a culture of compliance across the organization.
Develop and implement effective compliance initiatives within Sandvik’s established framework.
Proactively identify, assess, and manage compliance risks.
Manage and update internal compliance policies to align with industry standards.
Design and deliver compliance training programs to ensure all employees understand their obligations.
Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies, as well as internal Sandvik bodies.
Conduct and oversee internal investigations, including whistleblower matters.
Establish monitoring and auditing processes to enhance compliance protocols.
Engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, including across the Sandvik Group.
Regularly report on compliance operations and insights.

Required
Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree or Juris Doctor (JD)
A minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
Proven knowledge of software licensing compliance industry standards, preferably within manufacturing, and US-specific regulations and regulators (e.g. government contracts compliance, export controls and data privacy)
Experience developing, implementing (end-to-end), and overseeing compliance programs whilst navigating and bridging compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions and broader corporate policies to meet both the unique needs of local operations
Proven knowledge of compliance technology and data analytics, with strong documentation and reporting skills to ensure clear, accurate compliance records and program insights
Experience leading compliance teams and collaborating effectively across departments, with skills in mentoring and building up programmatic capacity
Proven experience conducting and managing internal investigations such as whistle-blower matters
Self-propelling with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to meet strict deadlines
