Responsibilities
Collaborates with members of the executive team to identify ways Technology Services can assist the ministry in achieving business and financial goals.
Identifies new Technology Services developments and technologies; anticipates resulting organizational modifications.
Assists as top-level contact for end users in determining Technology Services requirements and/or solutions. As well as prepares and presents technical and non-technical data and information to pertinent stakeholders.
Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the ministry to the department; plans ways to execute those goals within the department.
Establishes long-term Technology Services needs and plans and develops strategies for developing systems and acquiring software and hardware necessary to meet those needs.
Oversees projects and assignments within the Technology Services and portions of the Advancement Services departments
Leads efficient operation of the team so that prompt modernization and upgrades of Technology Services are performed as needed
Lead and mentor to cultivate a high-performing, results-oriented environment/team.
Establish, manage, and/or optimize strategic vendor/service partnerships.
Ensures that Technology Services and network infrastructure adequately support the ministry’s computing, data processing, and communications needs.
Develops and implements the Technology Services budget for all technology initiatives and operational support.
Identify and establish organizational policies, procedures, technical standards, and business processes aligned with ministry objectives and latest trends.
Reviews all hardware and software and maintenance contracts related to projects, software, hardware and related systems as appropriate.
Ensures compliance with government regulations that apply to systems operations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or other related disciplines) or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in technology strategy and operations, with demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technology ecosystems.
Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of the ministry.
Feels a calling to serve God through serving Cross Catholic Outreach in this capacity.
Believes in and supports the mission and ministry of Cross Catholic Outreach, and agrees with the conduct policies and conduct expectations of Cross Catholic Outreach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as working knowledge of networking, phone systems, IT infrastructure, project management, web technologies, business intelligence, data analytics, and ERP database systems.
Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term ministry goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
Excellent managerial skills.
Effective financial management of all IT related costs with a focus on excellence of stewardship.
Excellent vendor management experience from vendor selection through negotiation and partnership.
Data management.
Project management.
Business acumen and strategic planning skills.
Preferred
A master’s degree is preferred but not required.
