Responsibilities
Hire, lead, and build the most effective sales and sales management team in the industry.
Cultivate a robust talent development plan to build a market-leading organization and culture
Implement effective sales strategies, policies and develop new sales channel opportunities.
Ensure professional relations with all customers, trade professionals, and external contacts.
Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with CONMED personnel and management.
Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to gain greater market share, improve revenue generation and increase penetration of our technologies
Serve as the market experts within the business: understanding customer's current and future requirements, strengths, and weaknesses of competitors' products, and how to effectively differentiate our products
Work with surgeons and sales representatives in operating room and laboratory environments to support and promote product evaluations via safe and effective use
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree
8+ years’ progressive sales experience in the medical device industry, with some experience being specifically in orthopedic medical devices
5+ years of sales management experience
Expected Travel: up to 60%
Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship.
Preferred
Experience in managing a team that manages others
Experience selling and/or marketing foot and ankle products
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written)
