Responsibilities

Design and implement automated network solutions to improve operational efficiency and network reliability.

Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate network configuration, monitoring, and management tasks.

Collaborate closely with IT and operational teams to integrate automation tools such as Terraform, Nautobot, and Ansible into existing network infrastructures.

Assist in the development and implementation of network security measures, with a focus on factory segmentation and protection.

Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to proactively identify and mitigate security threats.

Work with network security teams to design, implement, and enforce security policies and best practices.

Utilize advanced monitoring tools to ensure the network's optimal performance and compliance with security standards.

Generate detailed reports on network health, automation effectiveness, and security posture, providing actionable insights for improvement.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network automation processes and network security protocols.

Provide training and ongoing support to team members on network automation tools, security best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in network automation and security.

Proactively propose and implement enhancements to current processes, aiming to improve security, efficiency, and network performance.

Required

Proven experience in network automation, using tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation tools.

Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and network segmentation techniques.

Familiarity with network security principles, especially in industrial environments.

Experience working with monitoring tools and security compliance standards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results and improvements.

Strong understanding of network security risks and proactive mitigation strategies.
