Responsibilities

Drives rhythm of accounting run activities for area of responsibility including monthly close and financial reporting responsibilities, implementing accounting and reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with local legislations and statutory requirements.

Advises and consults with peers, vendors and stakeholder groups regarding accounting controllership matters to ensure accurate accounting and to minimize financial reporting risk.

Contributes to accounting and financial compliance for Advertising SOX activities to ensure green audit results.

Meets with internal and external auditors to discuss audit procedures, respond to questions, and provide information and records.

Supports financially compliant business launches in accordance with Microsoft launch Policy

Assists in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track, and report accounting transactions. Verifies effective operations with business partners that help with end-to-end processing, payments, accounting, and related finance controls.

Supports the team in managing priorities and impact in a collaborative environment.

Provides recommendations to team members and business leaders for systems and process optimization.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, or related field AND 2+ years accounting or finance experience

OR Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 1+ year(s) accounting or finance experience

OR equivalent experience

Preferred

Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent.

Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 3+ years accounting or finance experience
