Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems that support our products/services using NodeJS.
Architect and implement efficient APIs, and other backend components.
Create and maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
Contribute to the architecture and design of our backend systems, ensuring they align with business objectives and can scale to meet future demands.
Architect and optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and frameworks to enhance system performance.
Implement security best practices to ensure data protection and system integrity.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, scalability, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
Implement and advocate for automated testing practices to ensure the reliability of backend systems.
Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
Communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical team members.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, advocating for their adoption when relevant.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
4+ years of experience as a backend engineer/developer
Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable systems
Proven experience in Node.js development
Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6/ES7 features
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Strong understanding of database design and optimization, with experience in SQL databases
Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing technical challenges
Understanding of the environment of working with mobile applications
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Knowledge in Frontend development (Flutter mobile)
Knowledge (reading capabilities) of PHP(Laravel)
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Performance tuning and optimization of Node.js applications
