Responsibilities
Create, edit, and manipulate complex legal documents from drafts, handwritten notes, and dictation
Convert and format documents across applications, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Perform advanced document tasks, including:
Redlining and tracking changes
Creating and updating tables of contents (TOCs) and tables of authorities (TOAs)
Generating fillable forms, graphs, and tables
Bates stamping, bookmarking, and applying watermarks
Manage PDFs: extract, redact, revise, and convert to Word or Excel
Prepare pleadings for federal and state courts
Transcribe dictation and perform proofreading to ensure compliance with legal standards
Collaborate on PowerPoint presentations and mail merges

Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in legal word processing or a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong skills in creating and editing litigation and corporate documents
Excellent written communication skills, with familiarity in legal terminology and formatting standards
Typing speed of 70 WPM
Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues
Preferred
Knowledge of legal software such as Crowther, DocX Tools, and DocuSign is a plus
