Responsibilities

Build and sustain leading practices and operations by anticipating future and constantly innovating to stay ahead of our clients and our competitors
Developing and leading the execution of effective expert work product, and testifying when appropriate
Leading overall engagement work including planning, budgeting, and execution
Leading and coordinating overall client interactions and communications
Analyzing pertinent design and construction documentation
Leading the research, review, and analysis of project records
Lead data gathering and organization activities
Work to expand existing engagement scopes, where warranted, and develop new business using existing and expanded contacts
Supervising appropriate personnel including analysts, associates, client personnel, clerical support, and others as appropriate
Using Ankura’s proprietary tools in the development of claim methodology and work product
Coordinating administrative functions including time tracking and bill preparation
Supporting the recruiting efforts through participation in campus events and office interviews
Working independently and in teams to maintain projected chargeability

Required

12-15 years of related work experience, which can include work outside of what is typically considered to be disputes or advisory services.
Expertise in Design and Construction Defects, Water Infiltration and Intrusion, Standard of Care, Project Schedule Delays, Cost Overruns, Productivity, Contracts, Change Orders and other issues related to Design and Construction.
Ability to develop and lead the execution of effective expert work product, and testify when appropriate.
Experience in leading overall engagement work including planning, budgeting, and execution.
Experience in leading and coordinating overall client interactions and communications.
Ability to analyze pertinent design and construction documentation.
Experience in leading the research, review, and analysis of project records.
Ability to lead data gathering and organization activities.
Experience in expanding existing engagement scopes and developing new business using existing and expanded contacts.
Ability to supervise appropriate personnel including analysts, associates, client personnel, clerical support, and others as appropriate.
