Responsibilities

Develop and implement the research businesss' long-term strategic plan, focusing on growth, innovation, and market leadership.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and potential risks to ensure the company’s competitive edge.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, prospective customers, and industry influencers.
Represent the company at industry conferences, panels, and executive meetings, effectively communicating research findings and insights to industry leaders.
Expand the client base by identifying new market segments and clients and developing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Drive business growth by fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders and exploring new revenue opportunities.
Partner with the day-to-day operations of research analysis, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and a very high quality of service.
Promote a growth mindset within the research team, encouraging innovative thinking, proactive problem-solving, and business development.
Own the research team’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure profitable growth and maintain financial stability while exploring opportunities for investment and expansion.
Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that impact the housing market, particularly in major metropolitan areas.
Share knowledge and insights through public speaking engagements, articles, and participation in relevant forums.

Required

Advanced degree in business, economics, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
Over 15 years of leadership experience in construction, real estate, or related industries, with a solid background in market research and data analysis.
Strong analytical skills.
Deep knowledge of the housing market demand and supply drivers across all major metropolitan areas.
Ability to lead and guide subject matter experts who will provide insights and forecasts on the economy, demographics, and U.S. metropolitan markets about building new homes, buying and developing rental homes and apartments, and supplying housing construction building materials.
Strong financial management skills with a history of driving revenue growth and profitability.
Recognized housing market expert with a strong industry presence and a commitment to sharing knowledge and insights.
Proven track record in leading and scaling similar businesses.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
