Responsibilities

Develop training content and programs specific to the needs of the field team, focusing on Vercel’s platform and products.
Deliver training sessions that are informative and practical, ensuring field team members can apply what they learn in customer engagements.
Create resources such as knowledge guides, case studies and best practice job aids to support the field’s ongoing development.
Work with Product and Engineering to stay up-to-date with product developments and reflect these in the training programs.
Assess the impact of training on field performance and adapt programs as needed.
Partner with Sales Engineering leaders to represent the field team’s feedback to our Product and Engineering teams to inform future product improvements.
Support field teams in the development of value engineering strategies to support the sales and renewals process.

Required

Strong background in JavaScript and modern web development.
Experience managing training programs, creating content, and meeting the dynamic needs of a field team.
Technical skills grounded in practical experience, ideally from a background in software development or technical sales.
Knowledgeable about the broader tech ecosystem and can incorporate this into training for a well-rounded perspective.
Experience includes a focus on web performance and understanding of network architecture and security.
At least 3 years of experience in a role involving technical training or enablement for a field team.

Preferred

Direct experience with deploying Next.js applications.
Worked on teams using Kubernetes to host Next.js applications.
Hold certifications such as Cloud Solutions Architect.
Sales Engineering Background.
Familiarity with industry standards such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2 from a technical standpoint.
Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
