Responsibilities

Organize and assign underwriting exercises within the Underwriting Team ensuring the timely delivery of competitive pricing offers with a focus on strategic bids.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of underwriters to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely evaluation of risk.

Review prepared pricing offers and risk profiles to ensure they are in line with Rightway's standards and risk tolerance.

Track and report on Rightway's potential risk profile in prospective business.

Work collaboratively with Sales and PBM Consultants to bridge gaps between Rightway's financial value proposition and external evaluations thereof.

Craft strategic responses to financial RFP questions that match Rightway's standards.

Support and mentor the Underwriting team with members of varying seniority (analysts to managers) in the execution of the team's objectives.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or other related discipline.

Successfully managed and led a high-performing team, providing guidance, support, and performance coaching to ensure consistent achievement of team goals and objectives.

4+ years in the PBM industry with a focus on underwriting and pricing.

Experience with SQL & Microsoft Office.

Working experience with Tableau, Python, R, or SAS.
