Responsibilities
Hires and develops 340B Sales Managers
Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other strategic company departments
Provides daily management of the 340B sales team in a professional and expedient manner while maintaining express confidentiality
Develops plans and strategies for growing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
Manages the team, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth and results
Manages key customer relationships and participates in closing strategic opportunities
Defines and oversees incentive programs that motivate the sales executives to achieve sales targets
Defines and coordinates sales training programs that enables the sales executive to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
Proactively identify and analyze problems and providing solutions
Assists with development and management of 340B sales budgets
Responds positively and is open to ideas, changes, and constructive criticism.
Works cooperatively with and fosters professional, respectful relationships with all Company locations and team members.
Provides an open-door environment where 340B sales team members may approach and communicate openly
Travels for in-person meetings with customers, the Company, and partners to develop key relationships
Provides pipeline report and status updates for sales growth execution
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required
Bachelor’s degree required
At least 10 or more years of proven sales experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Healthcare experience
5-7 years of sales management and/or business development leadership experience
Knowledge of 340B and the HRSA database
Basic understanding of 340B program. Has or willing to complete 340B basic training on APEXUS (6-hour program) and Advanced 340B Certification
Knowledge of basic principles, theory, regulations, and practices with respect to pharmacy and HIPAA
Outstanding verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to cultivate strategic alliances
Effective writing skills with strong grammar
Intermediate level skill/experience in Microsoft Office
Creative thinker, self-starter mentality, strong closing skills, and call frequency
Familiarity with Specialty Drugs Plan Benefits, PBM, and Managed Care
Pharmaceutical sales background in physician offices and clinical knowledge
The ability to use available technology, including smartphone, tablet and/or notebook computers and other devices, as well as other Wi-Fi enabled devices and services
Travel up to 75%
This position may require you to drive a company vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the company therefore, the incumbent must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence and active motor vehicle insurance
