Regional Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Direct staffing training & performance evaluations to develop and control the company’s sales. This includes:
Hiring and managing outside sales reps
Extensive interaction with all departments
Reporting and administrative duties
Training – both product and sales
Lead, implement and improve the sales process throughout the region.
New Business Development
Salesman development
Opening New Territories
Coordination of vendor interaction with Rubber Inc sales reps.
Assist and implement the marketing strategies of the company.
Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedule and discounts. This would include updating pricing to key accounts.
Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed account base expansion.
Develop and implement company programs, plans, goals, and policies.
Make sales presentations to key customers with and without company reps.
Procure materials to support key account programs.
Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
Call on customers. This includes:
Key accounts routinely.
Run territories when necessary.
Cold-Calling or New Business Initiatives.
Assist in finding, negotiating and implementing new products into the company.
Participation in special projects. This includes but is not limited to: Personnel, Branch Activity, New Territories, New plans and programs.
Plan and represent the company at customer and industry trade shows.
Any other duties that are deemed necessary by the company.

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
5 years minimum of previous Management experience.
5 years outside sales experience.
3 years’ experience with Budget Control.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Valid Driver’s License and an excellent driving record.
Preferred
Managing a sales team is preferred.
Outside sales experience in the automotive industry calling on automotive repair facilities and tire dealers.
Tire industry knowledge is a plus.
Excellent communication, math and computer skills.
