Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for peace officer candidates, ensuring compliance with the POST Peace Officer Psychological Screening Dimensions.
Assess for psychological suitability and potential biases, as outlined in the Bias Assessment Framework.
Document findings and prepare the Psychological Suitability Declaration for inclusion in the candidate's background investigation file.
Ensure that all psychological evaluations are valid for a period of one year and adhere to the POST guidelines and standards
Perform other duties as assigned

Required
Must have doctoral degree in Psychology.
Must be licensed to practice in California.
Must meet CPE requirements set by POST.
3 years experience working in California.
Preferred
Preferably board-certified in Police and Public Safety Psychology
