Responsibilities
Perform structural and code compliance inspections of crane and runway systems supporting the general material handling industry
Expected to travel 75% of the time for site visits to support survey and inspection job scopes and collect data required for analysis. Travel may occur on weekends and occasionally nights.
Standard R&R’s for a sample job:
Pre-job familiarization & travel readiness checks
Participate in Job Safety Analysis
Contribute in a supporting role to a lead surveyor
Ensuring equipment is maintained and in good working condition
Generate field reports based on the observations from the survey
Support after action review and job closeout tasks
Projects will be located throughout continental United States, rarely out of country.
Candidate must be able to communicate with Site Owners in a professional manner.
It is expected that the candidate will work under a mentor gradually improving their skills and transition into an independent delivery role with less oversight.

Required
Eager and able-bodied individual with willingness to learn and endure heavy travel periods.
Fitness to Work: Climbing, crawling, work at heights, high-heat environments
Minimum 1-3 years of either structural inspection or crane inspection experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs for development of spreadsheets and presentation of formal findings report
Eligible to work in U.S. and available to work standard 8am to 5pm CST work week hours.
Proficient in MS office and Teams
Interest to work towards a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Preferred
Prior NDT Certifications are preferred. (MT or PT)
Familiar with Survey techniques (Total Station and 3-D Laser Scanner)
Experience with reviewing and interpreting engineered drawings
Knowledge of standard construction practices and techniques
