Responsibilities

Canvass residential areas in the Los Angeles region to generate new leads and sales
Present and promote ADT security systems, educating potential customers on the benefits and features of the systems
Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and recommend the best security solutions
Close sales and complete necessary paperwork, including contracts and agreements
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent post-sale service
Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
Attend regular sales training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on products and sales techniques

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Persuasive and confident with the ability to build rapport quickly
Self-motivated with a competitive drive to succeed
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Goal-oriented and results-driven
Comfortable with door-to-door canvassing and face-to-face sales interactions

Preferred

Prior experience in door-to-door sales, direct sales, or a related field is preferred
Experience selling home security systems is a plus
Understanding of ADT products, security systems, and home automation technology is highly desirable
Some college coursework or a degree is a plus but not required
Basic technical understanding of security systems is a plus
