Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize robust Python-based backend systems for healthcare RCM workflows.

Build secure, efficient, and scalable data pipelines to process and analyze healthcare RCM data.

Develop backend logic to support automated workflows for key RCM processes, including eligibility verification, claims processing, payment reconciliation, and denials management.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including RCM analysts and developers, to gather requirements and design tailored backend solutions.

Implement and maintain secure data storage, access, and processing strategies to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Perform code reviews, optimize backend performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and trends to enhance RCM solutions.

Required

Minimum of 10 years in software development

At least 5 years of Python backend development experience

Strong understanding of healthcare RCM processes, including claims management, payment reconciliation, and denials management

Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable backend architectures, including database design and data processing pipelines

Expertise in handling large datasets, ensuring data security, and implementing data governance in compliance with healthcare standards

Strong analytical skills to address backend development challenges in complex systems

Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to diverse teams

Python: 5 years (Required)

Healthcare IT: 3 years (Required)

Preferred

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics for enhancing backend automation in healthcare RCM

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
