Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth deployment processes, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
Oversee the migration of data and services to the Collaboration Platform.
Create frictionless and highly automated playbooks that support rapid operations with low error rates.
Design and implement security measures, including data protection, identity management, and access controls within the Collaboration Platform.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
Monitor and manage security configurations and updates to safeguard against threats.
Engineer monitoring solutions to ensure the availability, integrity & confidentiality of the platform.
Contribute to planning, execution, and operations handoff of emerging cloud technologies.
Keep abreast of updates and new features in Collaboration Platform component, such as Microsoft 365, assessing their potential impact and benefits for the organization.
Be a subject-matter-expert in all parts of the Collaboration Platform, analyzing needs, documenting requirements, and designing and building solutions for Azure/M365.
Act as a liaison between IT, management, and end-users, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.
Participate in cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.
Coordinate with other team members responsible for other areas in the M365 stack (ex. Endpoint Engineering).
Document and communicate processes, standards & guidelines for consumption by team members and partners, including managed service providers providing Level 1-3 support.
Provide high-level support for complex issues within the Microsoft 365 environment.
Develop strategies for rapid problem resolution to minimize impact on business operations.
Administer and operate cloud-native infrastructure & applications.

Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field (4+ years of work experience in software, infrastructure automation or cloud-engineering can substitute for bachelor’s degree).
Minimum of 6 years of combined professional experience and education in Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field.
Experience in M365 including Exchange Online, OneDrive/SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform and other features within the M365 ecosystem.
Experience in cloud computing and architecture, specifically Microsoft Azure.
Experience in Identity & Access Management, SSO and MFA implementations using Entra ID.
Experience in Cyber Security Controls and best-practices in remote work & cloud compute environments, specifically Microsoft Defender tools.
Experience programming/scripting with any of the following languages: BASH/Shell, PowerShell, Python.
Experience engineering role-based Identity and Access Management solutions in a modern cloud environment.
Experience managing services & processes adhering to security frameworks such as NIST CSF.
Knowledge of defense-in-depth, least-privileged & secure-by-design principles.
Understanding of PCI DSS.
Good understanding of Microsoft Azure PaaS offerings (Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service, WAF).
Experience with DevOps tooling including branching strategies, managing repositories & CI/CD pipelines.
Experience designing and architecting with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. ARM Templates, Bicep).
Experience with modern DevOps tooling (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code).
Expertise in integration and API management such as RESTful APIs.
Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams with ability to address platform vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
Driven to solve problems through analytical approach to implement sustainable solutions.
Highly security focused staying up to date on all matters related to data protection, identity management, access controls and platform security.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Excellent documentation and communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong team player with ability to collaborate and work effectively across teams and business units.
Experience developing, implementing & continually improving processes.
Ability to adapt to meet the needs of a growing business, supporting newly acquired business units.
Preferred
Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
