Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers
Present our brand story and perform tastings with decision makers for all new leads
Effectively handle all sales leads-either directly from illy or from the distributors
Prepare equipment proposals: follow ups on leads and demonstrations
Work effectively with distributor teams to develop target lists and secure needed account appointments
Ensure accurate completion of new client credit applications and account set up forms; manage the completion of all term sheets for new accounts
Coordinate a new account set up with the distributor and ensure that all coffee orders are placed through the distributor, unless a direct account
Confirm that all installations with the technical department
Accurate completion of monthly sales pipeline tracking reports
Analyze monthly spending reports and report any inaccuracies
Monitor distributors’ depletions monthly
Schedule maintenance calls for existing customers
Perform training programs: Work with distributor and sales staff to train staff at existing accounts to enhance knowledge of product and use of equipment
Maintain high standards in coffee production and image using standard procedures
Ensure use of Branding and POS materials
Assist with development of Drink programs
Coordinate installation and set-up of new accounts with the technical manager
Manage repossession of all equipment in under-performing accounts
Ensure that Quality Assurance checks are completed monthly
Organize and provide information and tools to sales teams to assist in selling(Ex: price lists, product description sheets, sales slicks, new product information and training materials)
Lead the distributor’s sales teams to increase their volume by coaching them
Work with Regional Sales Manager to develop a yearly sales and spending budget and forecasts

Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Marketing preferred
5+ years' of sales experience, CPG - Beverage (coffee) preferred
Works independently and is resourceful
Ability to train others on product and equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills in conflict resolution and problem solving
Must have strong organizational skills and be able to schedule and prioritize activities, reporting and follow-up.
Time Management: Complete all required tasks within the required time frames.
Strong computer skills: MS Office Suite
Travel required
