Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to establish/maintain a strong research program (external funding, peer-reviewed scholarly work, national/international collaborations, mentoring of undergraduate/graduate researchers)
Teach/design transformative courses in and/or outside of SUCCEED degree programs
Provide service to the School, the College, the University, and nationally/internationally to their disciplinary communities.

Required
Earned doctorate in computer science/science/engineering education; earned doctorate in computer science or engineering, with expertise in education research; or earned doctorate in another education-related discipline, with topical focus on engineering or computing.
Preferred
Scholarly activity (e.g., grant funding, publications and presentations) and capacity to lead research commensurate with level of experience.
Teaching experience and quality commensurate with level of experience.
Mentoring experience commensurate with level of experience.
Evidence of/potential for cross-disciplinary collaboration within FIU and with external partners.
