Responsibilities

Conducts functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.
Design group policies and access control lists to ensure compatibility with organizational standards, business rules, and needs.
Installs and maintains network infrastructure device operating system software.
Manages accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures.

Required

You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this job.
To be considered for this position, you must complete all required steps in the process.
You may be required to serve a probationary period.
Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Subject to background/security investigation.
Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process.
Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.
Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving.
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-12) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Specialized experience is defined as: Operating Systems & System Integration: Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for installing, integrating, and optimizing information systems components, desktop, and network operating systems.
