Responsibilities
Manage all phases of project timeline including planning, budget, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure successful delivery.
Facilitate project review and retrospective sessions to ensure continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
Develop and maintain project plans that outline project scope, resource allocation, timelines, and budget. Adjust plans as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.
Utilize project management tools to track project performance and forecast future project needs accurately.
Coordinate change orders and out-of-scope requests from clients.
Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external clients, and third-party vendors. Ensure all stakeholders are informed of goals and objectives, project progress, action plans and any issues that arise.
Engage stakeholders regularly and systematically as needed.
Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them in a timely manner.
Elevate project risks and issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
Oversee the quality of deliverables and ensure they meet the required standards and meet client expectations.
Coordinate system testing and confirm that the project’s technical specifications are met.
Maintain project records to report on project status and milestones. Present and report to upper management and key stakeholders during regular project status meetings.
Utilize data visualization tools to enhance the clarity and impact of project reports for stakeholders.
Allocate resources appropriately to ensure projects are completed within the allocated timelines and budgets.
Periodically assist in evaluating team composition and skill sets to ensure alignment with project needs and strategic goals.
Engage with clients to gather requirements, deliver updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Be the point of contact for the client for any issues that need to be escalated.
Be responsible for overall client satisfaction.

Required
Strong ability to communicate scope, budget and timeline expectations to clients and stakeholders.
Diligently follow process and adhere to project delivery methodologies.
Experience working independently and with a team on advanced projects.
Works independently with minimal guidance and applies project management principles to daily work (iron triangle).
Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions to improve performance.
Ability to manage up to 20+ projects with various degrees of difficulty and complexity.
Experience in a primary client facing role for a minimum of 2-3 years.
This position is primarily a remote position. Travel may be required for client site visits.
Travel to Jacksonville, FL 2x/year is required for team events and training.
Typical Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM in office or remote availability.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams.
Strong project management skills, with an emphasis on timely delivery and budget adherence.
Ability to build and sustain relationships, both internally and with external partners.
Effective communication skills, allowing for clear articulation of complex geospatial concepts.
Preferred
Experience in software or SaaS implementation is strongly preferred.
Professional Project Management training strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in project management, geography, geographic information systems (GIS), business, or another related field is preferred.
