Responsibilities
Representative of the industry within OSS & be the voice of the customer in the market with close collaboration with country president’s DSO’s to define strategy for key countries / regions
Product and service portfolio definition for the industry market, regions, key accounts & other customers
Outline the necessary key success factors and critical KPI which are in line with the Key Country strategic initiatives and enables stringent customer focus and profitable growth
Capture the industry trends relevant to OSS to develop Multifaceted strategic road map that identifies the next SAM potential, milestones, investments, activities, resource allocation, tools, processes and organizational dependencies needed to positively contribute to the Division 5 year plan and achieve goals
In cooperation with sales excellence team, identify the processes and tools needed to ensure the efficient operation and maximization of customer experience which may include contract management & market intelligence tools.
Value add selling approach / business model in alignment with Sales excellence.
Develop with MarComs a customer & brand Value Proposition that supports and builds Oerlikons market positioning.
Project Steering to include, driving key global OSS projects in the respective Industry.
Member of R&D project boards and supporting key CSC project realization across OSS and regional projects.
Major OSS account ownership for assigned key OEMs/ first tiers.
Drive the strategic initiatives into the respective countries to achieve the maximised growth and profitability in the account.
C level networking in the SAM – drive top down/bottom up innovation
Develop global account strategy to drive sales growth
Overall lead for regionally managed KAMs in the specific vertical.
Training of local sales / product managers, supports and coaches Key Account Manager
Contracts, support NDAs, LTAs, JDAs.
Support complex pricing proposals across regions / business units.

Required
Bachelor’s degree (natural science, materials, engineering, economics, metallurgy)
Strong knowledge and existing Network in the Vertical Industry
Proven Commercial track record in in a multinational company in a technical industry
Business, Marketing strategy development experience on international level
Strategic, analytical and conceptual strengths
Very strong project management competence with a proven track record in managing complex projects in different locations and cultures
Dedicated, convincing personality with the ability to establish effective working relationships with different personalities independent of formal structures
Very strong negotiation and communication skills, integrator with the ability to engage others
Highly motivated, self-driven, open and positive mind-set with experience in international and cross-cultural business environment
Flexible to substantial travel internationally
