Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational direction to the company’s sales team functions supporting and executing on an ambitious growth plan for the company’s eyewear products, lens products, and practice management/health record software.
Drive revenue growth and market expansion through innovative strategies and effective execution.
Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies for the Global Sales Organization (GSO) that align with the company’s overall business goals.
Ensure accountability for sales performance, EBITDA, and market share growth.
Analyze global market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Foster a customer-oriented culture, ensuring exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
Work closely with senior leadership to align commercial strategies.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including new markets and channels.
Strategize, develop, and executive sales objectives including sales volume, cost of sales, margin, product profitability, etc.
Continuously improve methodologies, strategies, technologies, etc. to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of our talent pipelines, onboarding/training programs, goals/accountabilities, compensation/recognition, structures and sales processes, go-to-market plan, and career development/succession planning.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and other areas of the business to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Manage the sales budget, including forecasting, allocation, and monitoring of expenses.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, partners, and internal teams.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
10+ years’ experience with clear progression to senior leadership/management roles, leading and motivating, cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies supported by data-driven decision-making
Decisive with the ability to drive initiatives forward to a successful conclusion, holding self and others accountable to drive positive results
Strong people leadership skills to inspire teams and lead large and globally distributed work groups to achieve goals and perform at high levels
Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and senior leadership colleagues
Deep understanding of CRM systems for tracking sales metrics and managing customer relationships
Ability to manage budgets and forecast sales performance
