Responsibilities

Design, implement, and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that supports company growth, enhances market penetration, and strengthens customer loyalty.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to continuously adapt the sales strategy for maximum effectiveness.
Develop long-term sales plans that align with the organization's overall strategic objectives.
Lead and manage the Account Management team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Drive client retention initiatives and implement strategies to reduce churn.
Oversee and support the team in identifying and pursuing opportunities for territory growth and account expansion.
Serve as the escalation point for high-priority client concerns, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
Monitor and report on team performance metrics, including client retention rates and territory growth targets.
Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights and maintain a competitive edge.
Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that promote the company's products and services.
Create brand awareness and messaging strategies to increase the company's market presence.
Lead digital marketing efforts, including content, social media, SEO, SEM, email campaigns, and website management.
Oversee market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
Work closely with product teams to ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and product offerings.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team by providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
Foster a results-driven culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Set clear sales goals and metrics to track team performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee the design and implementation of sales processes, CRM systems, and tools to maximize efficiency and enhance sales team performance.
Drive the analysis and reporting of sales performance, identifying key opportunities for improvement and ensuring continuous optimization of sales strategies.
Collaborate with product and customer service teams to ensure sales and marketing campaigns, messaging, and products align with market demands and customer needs.
Lead the charge in generating new business opportunities, fostering relationships with key accounts, and identifying expansion opportunities in new markets.
Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure that revenue targets are met or exceeded on a consistent basis.
Develop and manage high-level customer relationships to drive long-term, profitable partnerships.
Review and approve all exceptions to standard pricing or other business terms.
Align marketing efforts to support growth and expansion goals.
Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders to develop and refine the company's overall business strategy.
Provide executive-level reporting on sales and marketing performance, forecasts, and strategies for growth.
Collaborate and communicate effectively and respectfully within all levels of the organization.

Required

Ten years or more of experience to include progressive sales leadership experience, including marketing experience; leadership experience in the software sales field is preferred.
Proven track record of designing, analyzing, and executing successful sales and marketing strategies in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales and marketing performance metrics, sales cycle optimization, and forecasting.
Experience in scaling sales and marketing teams and systems to support organizational growth and expansion.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
Ability to think strategically, foster change, incorporate innovation and implement strategies throughout all levels of the organization.
High level customer interaction skills and the ability to build and sustain trusted relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, influence stakeholders, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
Strong understanding of CRM tools, sales automation systems, and data analysis techniques.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred

A college degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
Sales and marketing experience within the technology sector and/or heavy-duty truck industry a plus.
