Responsibilities
Ensure correct maintenance of vital provider credentialing information via technology tool and digital copies of documents in provider files stored on OneOncology platforms
Develop enhanced tracking, reporting, and updating of all clinical licenses, malpractice policies, vaccinations, and certifications for physicians, advanced practice providers, LCSW’s, and other provider types enrolled with payers and credentialed with hospitals in technology tool
Develop tracking and reporting of all sanctions and exclusions for physicians, advanced practice providers, LCSW’s, and other provider types enrolled with payers and credentialed with hospitals
Create and generate regular status reports for partner practices, leadership, and payers
In coordination with Sr. Manager, Credentialing, create or update checklists for use by Credentialing team in the software system
Participates in implementation of software for new partner practices to include, but not limited to, reviewing data prior to sending to vendor, submitting data to vendor, attending software implementation calls, participating in data validation pre- and post- go live, and assist with file upload
Responsible for adding new payers, new hospitals, and new education entities into the technology tool
Assist with technology tool access and security assignments to users
Along with leadership, develop universal standards for all entities under OneOncology who are utilizing the technology tool
Develop training tools for Credentialing team to guide in the use of the software
Participate in training team members in the use of the software
Perform audits on Credentialing Specialist use of the technology tool for data reliability, accuracy, and timeliness
Troubleshoots and identifies data elements, which cause errors in the system and corrects or works with outside vendors to correct
Identifies, analyzes, and implements improvements to existing credentialing database systems in coordination with Sr. Manager, Credentialing
Participates in the development and maintenance of new applications, letters, and/or forms within the software system
Credentialing and re-credentialing of physicians, advanced practice providers, and LCSW’s with payers and hospitals, as needed
Termination of physicians and/or advanced practice providers with payers and hospitals, as needed
Termination and/or adding of practice locations with payers, as needed
Other tasks as assigned to drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Required
Current working knowledge of MDStaff and MDStaffE/MC
High school diploma and 2+ years of related experience required
Industry experience leading credentialing activities in large provider practice (or multiple practices) is required
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Training experience preferred
Certifications preferred but not required (MDStaff, PESC)
Working remote with travel flexibility as needed
