Responsibilities
Perform Systems, Structures, Zonal or Lightning & HIRF MSG-3 analysis to create scheduled maintenance requirements;
Support Maintenance Cost predictions and its management throughout the aircraft life cycle;
Support the development of aircraft systems for unscheduled maintenance (troubleshooting);
Work with the Technical Publications department and engineering teams to support the creation of Maintenance Manuals (AMM, FIM, SRM, CMM and others);
Validate the aircraft maintenance requirements and procedures ensuring completeness and accuracy;
Perform Safety analysis to ensure the aircraft Safety after maintenance activities are conducted, and work with other engineering groups to mitigate risks;
Support the Archer Midnight Entry-into-Service activities;
Support the maintenance programs evolution by evaluating Service Difficulty Reports (SDR), in-service maintenance reports, as in-service failure data;
Interface with Archer’s Reliability Engineering to evaluate the maintenance efficiency of the aircraft;
Interface with design engineering and suppliers to discuss maintenance requirements and procedures;

Required
Knowledge in MSG-3 Analysis

Degree in engineering or related field
Open to business travel (up to 25%)
Experience assessing systems architectures, system failures, failure modes and effects, aircraft structures concepts
Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance concept and processes
Experience with the ATA MSG-3 methodology and the Maintenance Review Board (MRB) or Maintenance Type Board (MTB) processes (S4000P may also be acceptable)
Basic understanding of S1000D (ATA iSpec 2200 may also be acceptable)
Experience performing life data analysis using Reliability tools, such as Weibull
Previous experience with design or support engineering at an aircraft OEM (Part 23 or Part 25) OR Experience with or at aircraft operator (Part 121 or Part 135) engineering departments such as Maintenance Programs, Reliability, among others
Experience creating, supporting and/or validating aircraft maintenance tasks procedures
Detailed knowledge of Aircraft Systems, Aircraft Structures or Lightning & HIRF protection systems
Experience performing or evaluating Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and its application into Maintenance analysis
Preferred
5+ years experience in aviation
Previous experience as an aircraft maintenance professional (certified AMT from the FAA or other regulatory authority)
Strong knowledge or experience with the following FAA advisory circulars: AC 121-22, AC 25-19, AC 120-16, FAA 120-17, AC 43-218, Order 8110.54 or related guidelines from the FAA or equivalent to other regulatory authority
Proficient with aircraft operators maintenance process, airworthiness certificates, among others
Previous experience presenting MSG-3 analysis to regulatory and operators working group settings
Proficient in performing MSG-3 analysis for multiple areas (Systems, Structures, Zonal, Lightning & HIRF)
Experience performing, planning or following up aircraft maintenance checks or complex components ‘shop maintenance’
Previous experience as part of a Technical Publications team
Experience or knowledge of aircraft health monitoring or prognostics as applied to aircraft maintenance
Experience on one or more civil aviation programs with a design and support engineering processes
Familiarity with the regulations and standards applicable to transport and general aviation aircraft
Knowledge or experience with S5000F or other equivalent in-service data exchange standard
