Responsibilities
Define and implement a data and analytics vision that aligns with the company’s mission to improve healthcare outcomes through technology.
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify data opportunities for product innovation, patient engagement, and operational excellence.
Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization, with a focus on delivering measurable value to healthcare providers and patients.
Develop and oversee data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and GDPR.
Ensure ethical use of healthcare data, safeguarding patient privacy and maintaining trust with stakeholders.
Monitor and address emerging regulatory changes that impact data and analytics in healthcare technology.
Lead the integration of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning into healthcare software solutions to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Utilize data to enhance product performance, drive personalized healthcare experiences, and support clinical decision-making.
Deliver actionable insights that help healthcare providers improve patient engagement, operational efficiency, and cost management.
Design and manage scalable, secure, and interoperable data platforms capable of integrating with electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare systems.
Evaluate and implement technologies that support real-time analytics and advanced healthcare use cases, such as predictive modeling and population health management.
Ensure the reliability and scalability of data systems to meet the demands of a growing customer base.
Build and lead a high-performing team of data engineers, scientists, and analysts specialized in healthcare data.
Foster collaboration between data teams and other departments, including product development, engineering, and client services.
Promote data literacy across the organization, empowering teams to leverage data effectively.
Establish metrics to assess the success of data initiatives, such as improved patient outcomes, provider satisfaction, and operational efficiencies.
Regularly present data strategy and outcomes to the executive team, highlighting the business impact of analytics initiatives.
Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
10+ years of experience in data and analytics leadership roles, with at least 5 years in healthcare technology or related industries.
Proven track record of developing and executing data strategies in compliance-driven environments such as healthcare.
Hands-on experience with modern data technologies and healthcare-specific tools (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake, AWS, EHR systems).
Experience leveraging data to enhance healthcare software product capabilities and improve patient outcomes.
Deep understanding of healthcare data standards and interoperability frameworks (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics as they apply to healthcare.
Strategic and innovative thinker with a strong understanding of healthcare industry challenges and opportunities.
Leadership and team-building skills to inspire cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Preferred
Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field.
