Responsibilities

Monitors the production process system to ensure proper operation.
Inspects, checks and documents process production activities.
Ensures safety, quality of workmanship, efficiency and timeliness when performing the assigned work.
Uses and maintains equipment in good working order and reports any abnormalities in a timely fashion.
Maintains working areas organized and clean to ensure work efficiency and safety.
Follows materials handling practices appropriate with safety standards, while maintaining minimum wastage.
Reports security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts.
Participate in inventory cycle count programs and accurate record results.
May participate in shipping and receiving activities, as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to monitor the production process system to ensure proper operation
Ability to inspect, check, and document process production activities
Ability to perform container preparation, bulk and non-bulk filling, shipping, receiving activities, and other production and facility capacities as assigned
Ability to ensure safety, quality of workmanship, efficiency, and timeliness when performing the assigned work
Ability to maintain working areas organized and clean to ensure work efficiency and safety
Ability to follow materials handling practices appropriate with safety standards, while maintaining minimum wastage
Ability to report security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts
Ability to participate in inventory cycle count programs and accurately record results
Ability to use and maintain equipment in good working order and report any abnormalities in a timely fashion

Preferred

Prior experience as a chemical operator/technician preferred
Ability to work in a team environment
Attention to detail
Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality
Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies, and procedures
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel preferred
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Critical thinking skills
