Responsibilities
Lead Engineering Teams: Take full ownership of the team’s processes, delivery, and quality of execution, ensuring efficiency and high standards.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Product Managers and end-users to develop a roadmap that aligns with both business objectives and user needs.
Provide Technical Oversight: Though not coding daily, you'll oversee code reviews and architectural decisions, offering technical mentorship and ensuring excellence in engineering practices.
Enhance Team Performance: Actively manage and enhance your team’s performance through proactive problem-solving and targeted feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Mentor and Develop Talent: Encourage engineers to reach their potential by nurturing a growth mindset and designing personalized development strategies.
Streamline Engineering Processes: Aim for operational excellence by refining processes, setting ambitious goals, and fostering a culture of feedback and transparency.
Recruit and Nurture Talent: Engage in all phases of the hiring process and play a key role in onboarding and retaining top talent to support rapid team expansion.
Proactive Problem Resolution: Embrace a proactive approach to problem-solving; if you spot an issue, take ownership and address it without hesitation.
Foster Open Communication: Participate in open, transparent discussions where feedback is encouraged, and innovative thinking is welcomed.

Required
At least 6 years in software development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role such as Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Founder.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, distributed setting.
Comfort with addressing performance issues directly and providing effective coaching.
Strong understanding of customer needs with a knack for converting complex problems into clear, actionable solutions.
Excellent ability in both oral and written communication, adept at simplifying complex topics for varied audiences.
While focusing on leadership, maintain hands-on experience with system design and a grasp of coding practices.
Decisive and straightforward, capable of managing tough conversations and providing prompt, constructive feedback.
Adept in attracting, onboarding, and retaining top talent to cultivate high-performing teams.
Effective at engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure comprehensive alignment.
Preferred
Experience as a startup founder or in dynamic startup environments.
Familiarity with Typescript, React, NestJS, or microservices architectures.
A track record of managing remote teams and enhancing web or mobile applications.
