Responsibilities
Provide overarching strategic leadership for communications, knowledge management (KM), and website workstreams to ensure high-quality implementation and alignment with project goals.
Develop and execute coordinated communication strategies and outreach campaigns, including those tied to major conferences and events.
Oversee the creation of knowledge and communication products (e.g., newsletters, learning briefs, case studies) and data-driven visualizations (e.g., infographics, story maps).
Maintain repositories of key messages, proof points, and statistics for internal and external communications.
Support the integration of cross-cutting themes (e.g., diversity, equity, and inclusion) into communications.
Lead the design, development, and management of content for USAID knowledge management platforms and intranet websites.
Oversee website maintenance and the creation of interactive features such as dashboards and databases to enhance KM capabilities.
Provide technical leadership in developing and implementing KM strategies, frameworks, and learning agendas.
Support the curation, synthesis, and dissemination of KM products to facilitate access, learning, and adaptive management.
Monitor KM analytics to inform user-centric approaches and decision-making.
Coordinate with partners and stakeholders to capture and curate content for effective knowledge sharing.
Explore the use of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, NLP) to enhance KM activities.

Required
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
At least 8 years of knowledge management and organizational learning experience working on complex international development programs.
At least 4 years of knowledge management and organizational learning team lead experience.
Experience working on USAID-funded projects.
Expertise in developing and implementing a wide range of knowledge management and organizational learning activities, including knowledge products, website development, digital campaigns (e.g., e-newsletters, social media strategy, traditional media engagement, success stories) as well as written collateral and products.
Experience developing complex knowledge management systems in International Development contexts.
Demonstrated experience in both strategic planning and adaptive management, including the USAID principles of collaboration, learning, and adapting.
Experience with online and face-to-face approaches (e.g. workshops, webinars) to knowledge management and learning.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with evidence of ability to establish strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in web-based technology, social media, and digital strategy.
Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team with a high degree of sensitivity and cultural competence.
