Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients during their onboarding process, delivering clarity and confidence in our services
Accurately record financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain updated records using tools such as QuickBooks and Excel
Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensuring precision and timeliness
Manage day-to-day activities such as bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize onboarding and bookkeeping workflows
Communicate with clients about their financial data, explaining reports and addressing any concerns or discrepancies
Collaborate with internal teams to provide basic tax guidance and serve as a bridge between CPAs and clients

Required
3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, with significant client-facing responsibilities
Proficient in U.S.-based accounting practices and tools like QuickBooks and Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain complex financial data in simple terms
Exceptional attention to detail, consistently delivering accurate and error-free work
Familiar with basic tax regulations and can provide foundational advice to clients
Excel in time management, balancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Thrive in a startup environment, embracing adaptability and problem-solving with confidence
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Preferred
Certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks Certification
