Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall quality and performance of all work performed on the systems relevant to the TO.
An SAP Enterprise S/4 Transformation Solution Architect is the subject matter expert (SME) in SAP ERP core functionality (Procurement, Sales, Finance, Inventory, and Manufacturing) with business process experience in S/4 Transformation.
They have a solid overall understanding of integrations between different functions within enterprise solutions.
This position is also responsible for process analysis, business requirements gathering, impact analysis, and solution implementations.
This position must have the ability to work well with internal and external business partners.
They should know the new SAP solution and product trends, understand S/4 transformation approaches from legacy to S/4 SAP Solutions and understand business benefits due to digital transformation projects.
They should know Software as A Service (SAAS) methodology as it pertains to a flexible solution that examines cloud methodology, analytics, managed services, and licensing/subscriptions.
They should know Platform as A Service (PAAS) and Infrastructure as A Service (IAAS) architectural design as it pertains to a flexible and cost-effective solution that examines cloud methodology, managed services, licensing/subscriptions, regional and geographical HA, COOP, SLAs, and FINOPS as it pertains to cloud hosted systems.
This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with key business and IT stakeholders as well as demonstrate leadership by aligning with client business goals.
They should have excellent skills for requirements gathering solution design, hands-on build, implementation, and troubleshooting.
They must have strong communication skills which include ability to convey complex technical concepts to all stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners.
This position must have the ability to proactively identify opportunities, make recommendations, own initiatives, and mentor others.
They must have strong knowledge of some core SAP ERP functionality.
They should understand integration points within SAP ERP and a solid knowledge in SAP integration tools.
They will work with Government Program teams and business users to gather and document business requirements.
They will design and document solutions that fulfill business requirements effectively and efficiently.
They will take part in reviews of work and leads reviews of colleagues’ work.
They will share business values of new SAP solutions to customers and can prove design and prove new system architecture to achieve business goals.
They will assist business leaders and senior IT management in leading the organization in the identification, evaluation, and selection of SAP solutions using industry best practices.
Identify, analyze, and communicate SAP and non-SAP options, making recommendations to management.
Effectively communicate to the appropriate audience and build consensus around the recommended solutions.
They will provide organizational change management process as part of a digital transformation program.
They will proactively gather feedback from the key business users, understand the business, and system gaps.
They will make recommendations and lead implementations for enhancements.
They will work with Project Management teams to analyze, design, build, test, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
They will collaborate with on-site teams and contribute to ensure continuous business operations.
They will proactively identify business and system improvements, make recommendations, take ownership, and bring those initiatives to successful implementation.
They will provide training and knowledge transfer to others to achieve customer and employer goals.

Required
Experience in S/4 transformation and configuration of relevant SAP ERP modules and participation in more than 5 SAP migration projects within the past 10 years (including at least 2 roles of solution architect or project manager)
Experience in design, development, implementation, testing of IT systems based on SAP solutions.
Previous experience working on SAP large-scale public-sector migration projects in the past 3 years.
10+ years of experience with SAP
Participation in more than 5 projects, including at least 2 in roles of solution architect or project manager, in the past 10 years.
Professional Level SAP certificate
Strong knowledge of some of core SAP ERP functionality
Understanding of integration points within SAP ERP
Solid knowledge in SAP integration tools
Understanding of SAP extensions principles and options
Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, hands-on build, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Leadership skills: ability to proactively identify opportunities, make recommendations, own initiatives, and mentor others, communicate effectively at all layers of the Government.
Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) prior to start of performance.
