Responsibilities
Create and manage Mailchimp emails for fundraising campaigns
Segment email lists to optimize outreach and engagement
Implement strategies to grow the email list, open rates, and conversation rates
Assist with fundraising activities, including online campaigns, in-person events, and community presentations, and evaluate success
Annual banquet planning and execution of tasks, including creating and managing event registration, working with graphic designer for related assets, volunteer recruitment & management/supervision
Create and maintain fundraising campaigns and pages
Analyze fundraising efforts to support strategies for ongoing campaigns
Prepare monthly development dashboard for senior leadership
Complete ad-hoc requests related to development
Monitor social media channels and respond accordingly
Coordinate content creation for social media posts and website
Support the digital marketing team
Effectively manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information
Import donations and pledges into Neon CRM; organize accounting records of check deposits and other direct mail donations in the drive
Support research on donors and prospects by conducting analyses of donor data to identify trends, preferences, and areas for improvement
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance fundraising strategies based on data analysis, including donor segmentation
Cultivate and steward donors throughout the year by developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance donor engagement and satisfaction (focus on base and mid-size donors)
Reach out to donors with failed monthly donations to update account information
Create and maintain donation forms and donation landing pages through Neon CRM software
Update donation forms on the website

Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
At least 2 years experience in nonprofit fundraising and development
Intermediate to expert proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets in order to analyze data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer service-oriented
Experience with CRM systems and donor databases
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
Applicants must live in the U.S., and be either a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
