Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable software solutions designed to leverage our SaaS

Design, build, deploy, test, and debug a codebase using Java, Vue.js, and JavaScript

Work on database design, optimization, and maintenance using PostgreSQL and SQL

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications

Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Investigate and resolve client reported software bugs or issues

Required

5+ years of proven experience in software development with a focus on Java, Vue.js, and JavaScript

Strong proficiency in database technologies, particularly PostgreSQL and SQL

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Effective communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions

Ability to learn new systems beyond area of core knowledge

Proactively seeks information and ideas from peers, supervisor, and customers

Preferred

Proficiency developing within an AWS environment, utilizing containers (Docker), or automating development processes
