Responsibilities
Review proposal content, including technical sections, management and staffing plans, resumes, and executive summaries, and provide detailed feedback to proposal writers.
Edit and refine sections contributed by other team members for clarity, coherence, and consistency.
Collaborate with the Crisis, Conflict & Governance, Agriculture & Food Security, Economic Growth, Education, Global Health, and Business Development teams as needed.
Perform other mutually agreed-upon duties related to proposal development.

Required
5-7 years of experience as a lead writer for technical proposals, particularly for U.S. Government (USG) procurements; USAID experience preferred.
Strong analytical abilities to understand and communicate complex topics effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
Proven ability to produce clear, compelling, and succinct technical documents.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Drive.
Fluency in English (oral and written) required; additional language proficiency preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as English, Communications, or a technical discipline required.
Preferred
USAID experience preferred.
Experience preparing proposals in areas related to information technology is a plus.
Master’s degree preferred.
