Responsibilities

Secure sales of Mart Cart products in alignment with Company sales plans and objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and develop tailored sales strategies.
Manage, train, and travel with manufacturers’ representatives, ensuring they’re equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the team's skills and product knowledge.
Achieve mastery of the complete Mart Cart product line to effectively communicate benefits and applications to customers.
Develop extensive knowledge of trends and opportunities within each market segment to build sales strategies.
Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and activity reports for management review.
Organize and participate in trade shows and industry events, managing budgeted expenses, logistics and ensuring successful representation of Mart Cart.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key existing customers and develop relationships with key strategic new customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Help customers identify needs and present optimal solutions to meet those needs while achieving company goals.
Identify opportunities, needs and develop market trends for management for new product development or expansion opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Travel approximately 40%.

This job operates in a clerical office setting.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, it does require the ability to lift and move equipment samples, perform demonstrations, and set up trade show displays as needed.

Preferred

College degree and 3+ years of relevant professional sales experience.
Proven work experience as an account manager managing existing accounts and bringing in new business.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Acrobat Professional.
