Responsibilities
Actively calling on existing clients in assigned territory
Actively pursue new market share and news clients
Developing a thorough understanding of clients’ business goals and objectives, operating systems, and manufacturing processes
Build professional Relationships with decision-makers
Quoting
Technical lead follow-up
Work with Clients, Internal support and Manufacturers
Monitoring Sales Activity Reports, projecting annual sales goals, preparing territorial sales forecasts, and verifying that sales activity supports the forecast and projected sales.
Reviewing client activities at least quarterly with Team Leader or Sales Manager and strategizing ways to maximize sales volumes or grow territory.
Make 12-16 client visits weekly – utilizing both in person and virtual meetings

Required
Mechanical Aptitude
Computer Literacy: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Outgoing personality
Good communication Skills
Strong customer focus
Sense of Urgency
Ability to initiate, maintain and develop business relationships
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology, with robotics and/or PLC Controls coursework; or
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, and can demonstrate a strong mechanical/technical aptitude; or
Associate degree in a related technical field and 5+ year’s job experience with strong mechanical/technical aptitude.
