Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and update product data records within source systems

Analyze, validate, and make necessary updates to bring standardization across product master

Perform basic analysis of large data sets to identify and correct data inconsistencies and anomalies

Responsible to review, prioritize and validate mass change requests within product master

Maintain and enhance Product Master Data Governance Rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), naming convention and other enterprise data standards

Partner with various internal departments and external product vendors for data gathering and coordination as it relates to product data

Required

3-5 years industry related product knowledge (working with water and sewer products, specifically, because fire protection has their own ‘data stewards’)

Create, maintain, and update product data records within source systems

Analyze, validate, and make necessary updates to bring standardization across product master

Perform basic analysis of large data sets to identify and correct data inconsistencies and anomalies

Responsible to review, prioritize and validate mass change requests within product master

Maintain and enhance Product Master Data Governance Rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), naming convention and other enterprise data standards

Partner with various internal departments and external product vendors for data gathering and coordination as it relates to product data

Preferred

2+ years of relevant experience, such as working with data

Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)

Time management skills including prioritization

Strong verbal and written communication

Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

Product knowledge

Basic Excel skills (sort, filter, lookups)

Experience identifying and documenting best practices.
