Responsibilities
Track and Report Results: Monitor key performance metrics and sales targets, ensuring you meet and exceed your goals while aligning with overarching business objectives.
Strategic Partnership & Planning: Collaborate with Sephora store management to develop tailored, store-specific action plans which may include out of stocks & analyzing stock reports. You’ll craft strategies that align with both Gisou’s brand goals and store-specific objectives, ensuring maximum brand visibility and product adoption within each location.
Be the Voice of Gisou: As the face of our brand, you’ll ensure that every interaction reflects Gisou’s values of luxury, sustainability, and authenticity. Whether you’re selling side-by-side with store associates or educating customers, you’ll bring the Gisou story to life with every conversation.
Inspiring Teams: Inspire and motivate in-store teams through education and consistent collaboration, ensuring they are empowered to drive product sales and deliver an exceptional Gisou experience to every customer.
Create Memorable Experiences: Execute innovative in-store events that embody the heart of Gisou—engaging customers and driving brand excitement. Your events will make an impact on both customers and sales.
Sales Leadership: Lead sales efforts by actively selling on the floor, demonstrating expert product knowledge and providing exceptional customer service. You’ll set the standard for how Gisou products should be represented in stores.
Build a Winning Team: Oversee the recruitment, training, and scheduling of freelance staff to ensure we have the right people in the right places. You’ll nurture a high-performing team to help drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
Manage Budgets: Efficiently allocate and manage budgets for freelancers, travel, and event expenses to ensure optimal resource usage and ROI.
Provide Feedback: Provide consistent and specific feedback on in-store assets, the competitive landscape, VM, and client feedback on products.
Maintain Visual Standards: Ensure the Gisou homebay is in a prominent space and that it remains in line with visual standards.

Required
At least 3 years of experience in the beauty industry
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on, in-store field sales experience—preferably with Sephora or another leading retailer
Innate ability to connect with others, building trust and strong relationships with store management, retail teams, and customers
Comfortable approaching any client in store
Passionate about teaching and inspiring others, making education engaging and fun
Ability to drive sales while ensuring that customers and retail teams are equipped with the knowledge they need
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Ability to develop tailored strategies for each store in your territory, drawing on market insights to make smart decisions that drive growth
Highly organized, able to juggle multiple projects while staying on top of deadlines and goals
Must be able to book visits and organize calendars for self & team, while also completing necessary role responsibility tasks
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to pivot and adapt to changing circumstances as the business grows
Deep love for the beauty industry, particularly when it comes to high-quality, sustainable products
Knowledge of the ins and outs of haircare and eager to share knowledge with others
Available to work a Tuesday–Saturday schedule with occasional weekend flexibility as needed
Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift boxes, and travel with ease within your territory
Self-motivated and able to work independently
