Responsibilities
Prepare detailed Civil3D CAD drawings for site development, utilities, stormwater systems, and roadway projects.
Interpret design concepts and engineering sketches to produce precise technical drawings.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure all designs meet project specifications, local regulations, and client requirements.
Revise and update CAD files based on feedback or changes to project scope.
Manage and organize drawing files to maintain version control and documentation standards.
Assist in creating permit submission packages by integrating CAD drawings with required documentation.

Required
Proficiency in Civil3D, AutoCAD, and other CAD tools
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles
3+ years of experience in CAD drafting, with a focus on civil design (e.g., site plans, utilities, stormwater systems, or roadway layouts)
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
Preferred
Certificate or degree in CAD drafting, civil engineering, or related field
Experience working with municipal engineering projects
Experience preparing permit submission packages
